Abstract: The titled invention discloses an Al-based smart transformer health monitoring system 5 for continuous and non-intrusive condition assessment of a monitored transformer. The system includes a voltage sensor (1), current sensor (2), temperature sensor (3), microcontroller unit (4), signal conditioning unit (5), and operator interface (6). The sensing units continuously provide transformer operating parameters to the microcontroller unit (4), and the acquired data is conditioned and analyzed through an 1.0 integrated Al-based analytical configuration. The system identifies abnormal patterns, detects early signs of overloading, overheating, and insulation degradation, and calculates a transformer health index based on monitored parameters, predefined thresholds, and learned patterns. An abnormal condition generates an alert through the operator interface (6), while data logging supports historical analysis and 15 maintenance planning. The system enables continuous monitoring without interrupting normal transformer operation and is suitable for substations, power distribution networks, and industrial applications.
