Abstract: ABSTRACT AI-Based System for Automated Mathematical Equation Solving and Step-by-Step Solution Generation The present disclosure relates to an AI-based system for automated mathematical equation solving and step-by-step solution generation, configured to intelligently recognize, analyze, solve, and explain mathematical problems received in various input formats. The system accepts handwritten equations, printed documents, scanned images, digital text, or voice input, and employs image processing, Optical Character Recognition (OCR), and Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques to convert the received mathematical content into a structured machine-readable representation. An artificial intelligence-based classification module identifies the mathematical domain and selects an appropriate solving methodology for the given problem. The disclosed system further comprises an AI reasoning engine, a symbolic and numerical computation module, a solution generation module, and a verification module. The reasoning engine automatically applies suitable mathematical algorithms to solve equations from domains including arithmetic, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, linear algebra, statistics, differential equations, and optimization. During computation, the system records each mathematical transformation and generates detailed step-by-step explanations in human-readable language while independently validating intermediate calculations and final results to ensure computational accuracy and consistency. The generated solution is presented through an interactive interface capable of displaying mathematical expressions, graphical visualizations, symbolic derivations, and explanatory text to improve conceptual understanding. The system may further support multilingual explanations, voice-assisted guidance, and adaptive learning based on user interactions. By integrating artificial intelligence, symbolic mathematics, machine learning, and explainable reasoning into a unified framework, the proposed invention provides an accurate, reliable, and educational mathematical problem-solving system suitable for academic, scientific, engineering, and industrial applications.
