Abstract: AI-based system and method for bias detection and correction in employee performance evaluation data ABSTRACT The present invention relates to an AI-based system and method for detecting and correcting bias in employee performance evaluation data. The system receives employee evaluation records comprising performance ratings, objective performance metrics, employee attributes, evaluator information, and historical evaluation patterns. An artificial intelligence model analyzes the data to identify statistical disparities and evaluator-induced bias across comparable employees or groups. A bias quantification module determines the magnitude and direction of the detected bias and generates a corresponding correction factor. The system applies the correction factor to the original evaluation score to generate a bias-adjusted performance score. A validation module evaluates the corrected score against objective performance indicators and predefined fairness thresholds. The system further updates bias detection and correction parameters using validated outcomes, thereby improving evaluation consistency, reducing discriminatory effects, and supporting fairer, data-driven employee performance assessment.
