The application for the patent was published on July 03, 2026, under issue no. 27/2026.
Abstract: The present invention -pertains to an Artificial intelligence ()based structural Health prediction platform for continuous monitoring, analysis, and prediction of structural failure risk in residential, commercial, industrial and public infrastructure buildings. The system that is proposed will combine vibration sensing, environmental monitoring, weather information, and material degradation analysis into one unified prediction system that will allow the identification of early stages of structural instability before catastrophic failure is reached. Traditional methods of structural inspection rely primarily on the manual inspection of structures, which is timeconsuming, labour intensive, expensive and rarely provides real-time information on the condition of the structure. The invention provides several distributed sensors compnsmg accelerometers, strain gauges, humidity sensors, crack detection sensors, and temperature sensors at critical locations in the structure. These sensors gather real-time data that is sent to a cloud-based AI system via the internet of things (loT) communication technology. The AI engine processes the vibration signature, load fluctuations, environmental exposure, seismic activity, corrosion and aging of structural materials like concrete, steel, and composites. The system also takes into account external weather forecasting databases, environmental risk models to assess the impact of rainfall, heat cycles, humidity, wind pressure, floods and earthquakes on building stability. The platform forecasts structural fatigue, crack growth, foundation settling and collapse threats based on historical and real-time data patterns. Each monitored section of the building is assigned a risk index score and engineers and authorities can then take preventive maintenance actions on them. The invention also enables automatic alerts, graphical visualization dashboards, maintenance scheduling recommendations, and remote monitoring via web and mobile applications. The platform proposed in this work has a significant advantage for the structural safety, maintenance cost reduction, extending the life of the building, improving the disaster prevention and preparedness, and smart city infrastructure management, by introducing intelligent predictive structural analysis.
