Abstract: ABSTRACT AI-BASED SMART WARD MANAGEMENT AND NURSING RESOURCE ALLOCATION SYSTEM The present disclosure relates to an AI-based smart ward management and autonomous nursing resource allocation system and method for improving the efficiency of healthcare delivery in hospital environments. The system includes a multi-modal patient monitoring fusion module, a Clinical Acuity Digital Index creation module, a predictive nursing workload estimation module, an adaptive nurse competency mapping module, a dynamic nursing resource allocation engine, a fatigue assessment module, an intelligent care route optimization module, an autonomous emergency redistribution module, an explainable artificial intelligence module and a self-learning hospital knowledge graph module. The system is fed healthcare data from different monitoring devices as well as hospital information systems, creates dynamic patient acuity scores, predicts future nursing workload demands, evaluates caregiver competencies, and autonomously allocates nursing resources based on patient care requirements. The system also optimizes the movement of caregivers, balances the distribution of workload, detects emergency events and improves the operational intelligence continuously through adaptive learning mechanisms. The invention improves patient safety, efficiency in resource utilization, response speed and workflow management in healthcare.
