Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention discloses an AI-based smart CCTV surveillance and crowd-aware navigation system for real-time monitoring and safety management within a monitored environment. The system comprises a plurality of surveillance cameras, a video acquisition module, a preprocessing module, a person detection engine, a pose estimation module, an abnormal activity detection engine, a face processing module, a multi-camera identity tracking engine, a crowd density estimation module, a decision orchestration engine, and a navigation optimization engine. The system detects abnormal human activities through temporal analysis of skeletal keypoint data, tracks individuals across multiple camera feeds using facial feature representations, and estimates crowd density within monitored zones. Analytical outputs are fused by the decision orchestration engine to generate contextual safety alerts. A weighted graph model is dynamically updated using crowd-density information to compute route recommendations having reduced congestion. The invention enables automated surveillance, proactive incident detection, crowd management, and adaptive navigation in smart campuses, public facilities, and infrastructure environments.
