Abstract: ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to an Artificial Intelligence (Al)-based financial management framework designed to predict future cash flow and identify potential financial risks in small businesses. Small businesses frequently face difficulties in maintaining sufficient cash availability due to irregular sales, delayed customer payments, unexpected expenses, supplier obligations, loan repayments, and changing operating conditions. The proposed system continuously collects and analyses financial information including sales revenue, operating expenses, purchases, salaries, rent, utility payments, customer receivables, supplier payables, loan obligations, and historical transaction records. The collected information is processed to identify financial patterns, recurring expenses, payment behaviour, and cash-flow trends. Using the processed financial data, the system predicts future cash inflows, cash outflows, and expected cash balances for selected future periods. An Al-based prediction engine evaluates the predicted cash position and identifies potential cash shortages or financial stress conditions before they occur. Based on the predicted financial condition, the system generates a dynamic financial risk score and classifies the risk into different levels such as Low, Moderate, High, and Critical. When the predicted risk exceeds a predefined threshold, the system generates appropriate alerts and financial recommendations such as controlling discretionary expenses, accelerating customer collections, postponing non-essential purchases, maintaining a minimum cash reserve, or reviewing upcoming financial obligations. The framework also incorporates a feedback and learning mechanism that analyses actual financial outcomes against previous predictions. The resulting information can be used to improve future prediction accuracy and reduce prediction errors over time. The proposed system can be applied across various small- business sectors including retail stores, restaurants, service businesses, small manufacturing units, cleaning services, logistics businesses, professional services, and other small and medium-sized enterprises
