Abstract: ABSTRACT AI-Based Sensor Fusion System and Method for Utility Network Contamination Localization and Jurisdictional Action Routing The present invention provides an AI-based sensor fusion system and method for localizing contamination sources and routing physical intervention across interconnected municipal drainage and utility networks. A multi-source sensor fusion engine correlates satellite/UAV information, GIS and elevation data, and IoT water-quality measurements. An AI source attribution engine uses graph-based processing and hydraulic-flow back-propagation to infer probable upstream fault locations, while a confidence scoring module associates confidence information with candidate fault segments. An infrastructure topological mapping module maps a selected location to a physical utility node and a spatial jurisdiction mapping module identifies the responsible utility or enforcement entity. An automated routing engine then generates and routes a maintenance, inspection, enforcement or physical control action to a utility execution node. The system thereby links contamination detection, physical source localization, jurisdiction resolution and field intervention within an integrated technical workflow.
