Inventor includes Gulnaz Tanveer Ahmed Thakur.
The application for the patent was published on July 17, 2026, under issue no. 29/2026.
Abstract: The present invention relates to an artificial intelligence-based system for rooftop farming decision support with recommendation capabilities. The system integrates IoT-based sensors to collect environmental data including temperature, humidity, soil moisture, and the light intensity, along with a data processing unit for storage and pre-processing. An AI-based prediction model utilizing a long short-term memory (LSTM) model forecasts microclimatic conditions, while a random forest model generates crop recommendation based on predicted environmental conditions and crop-specific parameters, including growth duration. The system further comprises a user interface configured to provide graphical visualization and user interaction. By integrating microclimatic prediction with crop recommendation, the system enables data-driven decision making, improves resource utilization, and enhances the efficiency and sustainability of urban rooftop farming practices, which promotes the healthy lifestyle and longevity.
