Abstract: A system and method for AI-based regulatory compliance and ethical risk assessment are disclosed. The platform comprises a data acquisition layer configured to collect organizational data from multiple internal and external sources, a regulatory intelligence engine configured to interpret and maintain machine-readable regulatory requirements, a compliance assessment engine configured to identify compliance deviations, and an ethical risk evaluation engine configured to assess fairness, transparency, accountability, privacy, explainability, and related governance indicators. A risk scoring module generates compliance and ethical risk scores based on assessment outputs, while an explainability engine provides traceable reasoning and audit records for identified risks. A continuous monitoring engine evaluates operational activities and artificial intelligence-generated decisions in real time and generates alerts upon detecting risk conditions. The platform further provides automated reporting, remediation recommendations, and governance dashboards, thereby enabling organizations to maintain regulatory compliance, improve ethical oversight, enhance transparency, and reduce governance-related risks across multiple jurisdictions and operational environments.
