MUMBAI, India, Sept. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511130679 A) filed by Lingayas Vidyapeeth Deemed To Be University on December 23, 2025, for Ai-Based Predictive Modeling For Durability Assessment In Bacterial Concrete And Related Methods.

Inventors include Sushant Kumar Jha; and Dr. Gaurav Sharma.

The application for the patent was published on September 04, 2026, under issue no. 36/2026.

Abstract: The system and method described focus on predicting and optimizing the durability of bacterial concrete with metakaolin using an AI-based predictive modeling system. The system includes a bacterial concrete composition with a concrete matrix, bacteria, and metakaolin, and utilizes a Context Integrated Recurrent Neural Network (CIRNN) model to predict durability outcomes. It also features a microstructural analysis module to identify optimal concentrations of bacteria and metakaolin that enhance the concrete's properties, such as self-healing and resistance to chemical attacks. The durability assessment module evaluates properties like chloride penetration and resistance to acid and salt attacks. The method involves incorporating bacteria and metakaolin into the concrete matrix, developing the CIRNN model, and identifying optimal concentrations through microstructural analysis techniques, resulting in concrete mixes with improved durability.
