Abstract: AI BASED PREDICTIVE MAINTENANCE FOR ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT ABSTRACT This invention presents an AI-based predictive maintenance system for electrical equipment that enables early detection of faults, estimation of equipment health, and timely maintenance planning. The system continuously collects operational data from electrical assets such as transformers, motors, switchgear, generators, cables, and circuit breakers using sensors and monitoring devices. Parameters including temperature, current, voltage, vibration, load, insulation condition, and power quality are analyzed through machine learning algorithms to identify abnormal patterns and predict possible failures. Historical maintenance records and real-time measurements are combined to improve prediction accuracy and generate equipment-specific risk scores. The system provides alerts, remaining useful life estimates, and maintenance recommendations through a centralized monitoring interface. By identifying developing faults before breakdown, the invention reduces unplanned outages, maintenance costs, energy losses, and equipment damage. It also supports condition-based maintenance, improves asset utilization, and enhances electrical safety. The proposed solution can be deployed in industrial plants, utilities, commercial facilities, renewable energy systems, and smart grids, offering scalable and intelligent maintenance support for diverse electrical infrastructure. Cloud or edge implementation allows secure data processing, remote supervision, and adaptive model updating.
