Abstract: A municipal sanitation enforcement apparatus automatically detects pet waste violations and identifies responsible owners through artificial intelligence. The apparatus comprises a multi-source data acquisition module receiving imagery from cameras, mobile applications, and drones. An AI detection engine employing computer vision detects persons, dogs, and waste material. A behavior recognition module analyzes frame sequences to identify defecation events based on sequential patterns. An owner identification module extracts facial features using convolutional neural networks and generates feature vectors. An identity matching engine compares vectors against municipal databases using cosine similarity. A geo-spatial evidence engine binds GPS coordinates, timestamps, and multimedia into tamper-proof records. A violation verification module calculates confidence scores and validates violations exceeding predetermined thresholds. An automated enforcement module generates and transmits violation notices.
