Abstract: In today's technology-driven world, we are witnessing a rapid growth in Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things based automation systems. This paper introduces an AI-based social sentiment recognition system using Python, DeepFace, and ESP32 microcontroller. Our project aims to leverage AI and IoT to create an intelligent closed atmosphere monitoring system that automatically detects human emotions and controls connected hardware devices based on the identified emotional condition. This is particularly beneficial for healthcare monitoring, educational environments, and smart room applications. The webcam-based emotion detection system offers a real-time, cost-effective, and reliable solution for homes, workplaces, and monitoring centers. This project demonstrates the development of an intelligent emotion recognition and automation prototype capable of detecting emotions such as Happy, Sad, Angry, Fear, Cry, Sleep, and Neutral and automatically controlling hardware devices including fan, LEDs, buzzer, and LCD display based on the detected emotional state. The system consists of a Python AI module, an ESP32 microcontroller, and a smartphone with proper cloud connectivity. Our goal is to create a reliable, low-cost, and intelligent smart monitoring system that enables real-time emotion- based automation and user safety through email and SMS alert notifications.
