Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention relates to an artificial intelligence-based malnutrition detection and personalized nutrition recommendation system and method using locally available crops. The system comprises a Data Input Module for acquiring demographic, anthropometric, dietary, and symptom-related information; a Preprocessing Unit for data conditioning and feature preparation; a Feature Extraction Engine for generating nutritional assessment parameters; and an Ensemble Prediction Engine employing multiple machine-learning models to predict nutritional deficiencies. A Nutritional Deficiency Classifier determines deficiency categories, which are mapped by a Local Crop Mapping Engine to nutrient-rich crops retrieved from a Nutrition Knowledge Database containing region-specific nutritional information. A Recommendation Generation Module automatically generates personalized dietary interventions based on the identified deficiencies and locally available food resources. The invention enables early nutritional deficiency detection and converts health-related inputs into region-adaptive dietary recommendations, thereby providing an affordable, scalable, and preventive healthcare solution while reducing dependence on laboratory-based nutritional screening.
