MUMBAI, India, Nov. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641124566 A) filed by Sns College Of Technology on October 17, 2026, for Ai-Based Intelligent Construction Detailing System For Automated Requirement Analysis, Estimation, Cad/Bim Support And Construction Planning Report Generation.
Inventors include Mr. S. Haribabu G; Gobika R; Meiyarasan A; Prathika R; and Sathyamoorthy S.
The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.
Abstract: The present invention relates to an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based intelligent construction detailing system configured to convert client construction requirements, received through a chat interface, into structured construction planning outputs. The proposed system provides a unified platform combining requirement analysis, plot feasibility validation, cost estimation, bill of quantities (BOQ) generation, material and steel planning, CAD design support, BIM support, construction scheduling, pricing worksheets, procurement planning, estimation document risk analysis, and professional report generation. The system receives a natural-language requirement such as the built-up area, the number and type of rooms, parking needs, and the available budget. Specialized AI agents interpret the requirement and validate whether the proposed building is feasible for the available plot area. When the requirement is feasible, the agents estimate the total, material, labor and finishing cost, calculate quantities of steel, cement, bricks, sand, aggregate, tiles and paint, suggest a basic floor plan and room arrangement, and generate a phase-wise construction roadmap and schedule together with delay-risk indications. The system additionally analyzes an existing estimation document in PDF form to identify potential risks, missing information and areas of improvement. All AI-generated outputs remain editable and are subject to review, modification and approval by a human engineer, so that final decisions remain under professional control. The results are compiled into a structured construction planning report and made available through a browser-based interface. The invention provides an integrated workflow in which a client requirement is converted into validated, editable and documented construction planning information. The system is intended to reduce repetitive manual calculation, identify feasibility problems at an early stage, and provide a single mechanism for producing consistent construction planning documentation.
