The application for the patent was published on September 18, 2026, under issue no. 38/2026.
Abstract: The present invention relates to an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based Integrated Physiological Performance Monitoring System for real-time prediction of swimming speed efficiency. The system comprises one or more waterproof wearable physiological sensors, a smart respiratory monitoring module, a portable digital spirometer, wireless communication modules, a cloud-based analytics platform, and a machine-learning-based prediction engine. The system continuously collects physiological and performance-related parameters including Heart Rate, Respiratory Rate, Vital Capacity, Swim Time, Lap Time, Stroke Number, Swimming Speed, Water Temperature, Distance Covered, and Athlete Information. The collected data are transmitted wirelessly through Bluetooth®, Wi-Fi®, or equivalent communication technologies to a cloud computing platform for storage, processing, and analysis. The AI-based prediction engine utilizes machine learning algorithms to analyze the acquired physiological and swimming performance data and generate performance indicators including Swimming Speed Efficiency, Endurance Level, Cardiovascular Stress, Pulmonary Function Status, Recovery State, Fatigue State, and Performance Index. The system further detects abnormal physiological conditions associated with fatigue, excessive physical stress, reduced recovery capacity, and potential injury risk, and automatically generates alerts and personalized training recommendations. An interactive dashboard enables coaches, sports scientists, and physical education instructors to monitor multiple athletes simultaneously, access historical performance records, and implement data-driven training strategies. The invention provides an integrated, automated, and scientific solution for real-time swimmer monitoring, performance evaluation, fatigue detection, injury-risk assessment, and coaching support, thereby improving training effectiveness, athlete safety, and overall swimming performance.
