Abstract: The present invention discloses an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-Based English Learning System designed to provide personalized, adaptive, and interactive language learning support to users with different levels of English proficiency. The system integrates artificial intelligence, machine learning, natural language processing, speech recognition, adaptive assessment, and learner-performance analytics to improve reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and comprehension skills. The system comprises a learner interface, proficiency assessment module, adaptive learning engine, natural language processing module, speech recognition and pronunciation analysis module, recommendation module, feedback generation module, progress monitoring module, and data storage module. An initial assessment determines the learner’s proficiency level and identifies individual strengths and weaknesses. Based on the assessment results, the adaptive learning engine generates a personalized learning pathway and dynamically adjusts the difficulty, type, and sequence of learning activities. The natural language processing module evaluates written responses and identifies grammatical, spelling, vocabulary, sentence-formation, and contextual errors. The speech analysis module evaluates spoken input for pronunciation, fluency, clarity, and word accuracy. The recommendation and feedback modules provide immediate corrections, explanations, exercises, and improvement suggestions based on learner performance. The progress monitoring module continuously records assessment results, learning activities, recurring errors, and skill development. The proposed system may be implemented through web, mobile, desktop, or cloud-based platforms and is suitable for schools, colleges, training institutions, online learning environments, and self-learning applications. The invention thereby provides an integrated, scalable, and personalized English learning environment with automated assessment and continuous learner support.
