MUMBAI, India, Oct. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641115377 A) filed by Sri Eshwar College Of Engineering on September 24, 2026, for Ai-Based Email Automation Using A Mail Control Platform With Conversational Intelligence.
Inventor includes E. Saranya.
The application for the patent was published on October 02, 2026, under issue no. 40/2026.
Abstract: A computer-implemented email automation system is disclosed that enables intelligent and personalized email management through a conversational artificial intelligence interface. The system receives natural-language instructions from users and identifies user intent, relevant information, contextual parameters and required email actions. The Mail Control Platform (MCP) acts as a centralized control and orchestration layer that converts the interpreted instructions into executable and authorized tasks such as email composition, reading, searching, summarization, organization, content enhancement, attachment processing, sending and scheduled delivery. The system integrates AI-based text processing, context management, task automation, personalization, authentication and service connector modules. The AI module supports intelligent email drafting, tone modification, response generation, summarization and interpretation of multi-intent commands. The context management mechanism enables subsequent instructions to continue or modify previously initiated tasks without requiring the user to repeat previously provided information. The platform further supports personalized templates, bulk email management, automated workflows and scheduled operations. Configurable service connectors enable integration with external digital services, while authentication and authorization mechanisms provide controlled and secure access to user data and services. A cloud-based serverless architecture enables scalable processing, secure data management and reliable automated task execution. The proposed invention transforms conventional email interaction into a context-aware, conversational and automated workflow, reducing repetitive manual operations and cognitive effort while improving communication quality, email management efficiency and overall user productivity.
