Abstract: ABSTRACT [0011] An intelligent AI-driven system is disclosed that integrates electricity demand forecasting with explainable anomaly detection for distribution company operations. Feeder- and meter-level consumption data are collected and preprocessed to address missing values arising from circuit-breaker trips or communication failures. Advanced time-series models learn temporal consumption patterns and generate accurate short-term load forecasts. Concurrently, continuous monitoring identifies abnormal behavior such as sudden spikes, drops, or potential power-theft events. Explainable artificial-intelligence techniques highlight the principal factors contributing to each forecast and each detected deviation, presenting the insights in operator-friendly form. Network-aware analysis across feeders and zones, interactive control-room dashboards, and operational metrics including peak-load risk and theft-suspicion indicators equip distribution companies with a transparent, decision-oriented tool for improving grid reliability, reducing losses, and optimizing energy distribution.
