The application for the patent was published on June 26, 2026, under issue no. 26/2026.

Abstract: A safe driving system (100) based on eye blink detection is disclosed. The system comprises an image acquisition unit (102), a processing unit (104) for analyzing eye blink patterns, and a drowsiness detection module (106) configured to identify prolonged eye closure. An adaptive threshold unit (108) dynamically adjusts detection thresholds based on blink history. Upon detecting drowsiness, control signals are transmitted via a communication interface (110) to a microcontroller (112), which controls a motor driver module (114) and vehicle actuation unit (118). A graded control unit (116) progressively reduces vehicle speed before stopping. An alert unit (120) activates a buzzer and sends emergency notifications. The invention provides improved accuracy, safety, and real-time performance.
