The system integrates a developmental persona engine with an emotional state reconstruction engine that maps heterogeneous inputs— including acoustic, textual, visual, and biometric signals—into affective dimensions of valence, arousal, and cognition, even under sparse-data conditions. Interaction style is dynamically adjusted to align with developmental stage, cognitive load, and emotional state, while contextual response tuning enables real-time modulation of dialogue pacing, tone, and smart-environment parameters such as lighting or audio. A structured escalation framework initiates interventions ranging from persona recalibration to peer prompting, caregiver notification, and emergency activation when sustained distress is detected. All processing is executed locally under a federated privacy model, ensuring confidentiality while supporting collective model refinement. The invention thereby provides a privacy-preserving, adaptive, and developmentally aligned digital mental health companion.
