Inventors include Dr. Anjan Kumar K N Associate Professor; Sanjay P Kassistant Professor; V Sreelekharncs; T Shamshitha Rncs; Sumedh N Rrncs; and Y Preethirncs.

The application for the patent was published on October 09, 2026, under issue no. 41/2026.

Abstract: Natural disasters often disrupt communication infrastructure, causing delays in rescue operations and increased loss Of life. This invention proposes an Al-based decentralized disaster response system that operates without internet connectivity using mesh networking. The system enables communication between devices using Bluetooth and Wi-Fi Direct, forming a multi-hop network for message transmission. Artificial Intelligence is used to analyze incoming data, classify victim severity, and generate a Rescue Priority Index (RPI) to optimize rescue operations. Graph-based routing algorithms such as Dijkstra and A* are used to ensure efficient message delivery. The System also synchronizes data to the cloud when connectivity is restored and provides a real-time dashboard for monitoring. This invention improves response time, coordination, and overall disaster management efficiency
