MUMBAI, India, Sept. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641108136 A) filed by Pragati Engineering College on September 09, 2026, for Ai-Based Cyber Attack Immune Network With Autonomous Self-Healing And Predictive Threat Intelligence.
Inventors include Mr. Maruthi Manishankar; Mrs. T. Ganga Bhavani; Mr. S. Nani Babu; and Mrs. P. Ramya Krisha.
The application for the patent was published on September 11, 2026, under issue no. 37/2026.
Abstract: The AI-Based Cyber Attack Immune Network (AICAIN) is a novel intelligent cyber security system model that is developed based on the biological model of the human body’s immune system. As opposed to current security measures based on pre-programmed signature databases and frequent manual upgrades, the proposed invention continuously learns, detects, isolates, and heals the system from any form of cyber attacks autonomously with the help of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and behavioral analysis. The proposed invention is constantly observing the traffic, user behavior, endpoint activities, and IoT communication in the system. The AI-based models will recognize the normal operation of the network and identify anomalies, including ransomware, phishing, malware, insider attacks, DDoS attacks, zero-day attacks, and advanced persistent threats (APTs). Once an attack is identified, the system will quarantine the infected devices, stop malicious traffic, restore affected services by using backup snapshots, and update the threat intelligence database to avoid similar future attacks. As opposed to current intrusion detection systems, the proposed invention uses an adaptive self-healing process, distributed AI agents, federated learning, and blockchain-based threat sharing to develop an immune network.
