Abstract: The present invention proposes an AI-based cardless ATM authentication system for secure and contactless banking transactions using real-time facial recognition and eye-movement based liveness verification. The system continuously captures and analyses facial features of a user through a camera-based monitoring unit integrated within an ATM machine. In order to verify the physical presence of the authorized user, the system further analyses blinking activity, gaze direction, pupil movement, facial depth characteristics, and head orientation patterns using computer vision and artificial intelligence techniques. The proposed invention prevents unauthorized access attempts performed using photographs, replayed videos, masks, digital displays, or AI-generated deepfake visuals through behavioural liveness analysis and anti- spoofing mechanisms. The system further supports adaptive transaction security based on suspicious activity and transaction conditions. The proposed invention provides a secure, scalable, fraud-resistant, and practical ATM authentication framework suitable for modern banking infrastructure.
