Abstract: The present invention relates to an AI based assistive mobility device constructed as an ultra-lightweight, ergonomically configured walking stick integrating advanced composite materials and multi-functional electronic subsystems. Structurally, the device comprises a reinforced body formed from carbon fiber reinforced polymer with a graphene nano-coating and an internal magnesium alloy spine, providing high strength, durability and reduced weight. The lower end incorporates a smart tip formed of a rubber composite embedded with piezoelectric and pressure sensors for terrain detection, while the upper handle houses the AI processing unit, audio interface and control components. The device integrates a multi-sensor fusion system including ultrasonic sensors, LiDAR, infrared, a wide angle camera and inertial measurement units. An embedded AI processing unit fuses these inputs to perform realtime obstacle and terrain classification, risk assessment and adaptive voice guidance delivered through a handle integrated bone conduction transducer, preserving ambient sound awareness. The device further incorporates fall detection mechanisms using motion sensors which trigger emergency alerts with location data through integrated communication modules. Additionally, a remote monitoring system enables real-time video transmission and cloud connectivity. A hybrid power management system comprising rechargeable batteries, solar-assisted charging and kinetic energy harvesting, ensures sustained and efficient operation of the integrated system.
