Abstract: ABSTRACT AI-Based Adaptive Cyber Security Framework for Real-Time Detection and Mitigation of Network Threats An AI-based adaptive cyber security framework (100) and method (200) for realtime detection and mitigation of network threats are disclosed. A traffic capture module (104) acquires network traffic from a monitored network (102) and a feature extraction module (106) derives packet-level, flow-level and temporal features. A hybrid threat detection engine (108) processes the features concurrently through a signature-based detector (110), a machine-learning anomaly detector (112) and a deep sequence detector (114). A decision fusion module (116) combines the detector outputs into a unified threat score using adaptive weights and compares it with an adaptive threshold. A mitigation orchestrator (120) automatically selects and enforces a proportionate mitigation action at policy enforcement points (122). An adaptive learning module (118) detects concept drift from analyst verdicts, postmitigation telemetry and traffic statistics, and retrains the detectors and updates the fusion weights online, thereby sustaining detection accuracy against evolving threats.
