Inventors include Lalit B. Damahe; Aryan Vitankar; Ananya Singh; Rajas Wanjari; and Sharyu Dhore.
The application for the patent was published on July 03, 2026, under issue no. 27/2026.
Abstract: The AI Automated Animal Detection and Trapping System uses artificial intelligence and computer vision together with laser targeting and automatic anesthetic delivery systems to detect and track animals while accomplishing safe animal immobilization. The system operates without human assistance to identify animals and determine their exact location while using a laser targeting system to deliver a specific dose of anesthetic which induces temporary loss of consciousness in the animal. The system outperforms standard methods by delivering better accuracy and increased safety while needing less human operation for animal capture which it accomplishes through the use of humane methods.
