MUMBAI, India, July 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641080573 A) filed by Narsimha Reddy Engineering College Nrcm on June 30, 2026, for Ai-Assisted Energy Harvesting And Power Management Circuit For Wearable Medical Monitoring Devices.
Inventors include Dr Kalisetti Purushotham Prasad; Dr. N. Kavitha; P. Revathy; V. Ramudu; Subhrajit Sahoo; and Pulla Reddy Avula.
The application for the patent was published on July 03, 2026, under issue no. 27/2026.
Abstract: An AI-assisted energy harvesting and power management circuit (100) for wearable medical monitoring devices is disclosed. The circuit comprises multi-source energy harvesting modules (102), a hybrid impedance-matched aggregation network (104), an energy storage unit (106), and a power management unit (108). A processing unit (114) executes an adaptive physiological-activity-aware algorithm to dynamically allocate energy between sensing and communication functions based on predicted physiological event criticality. The system improves power transfer efficiency and operational lifetime while maintaining real-time medical monitoring capability.
