Abstract: The design and execution of smart infrastructure energy management systems involve numerous challenges. Hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulation and physical implementation are crucial to evaluate a system's efficacy, dependability, and performance under real-world conditions. The proposed solar powered Infrastructure integrates with AI and ML-Driven energy management system to enables intelligent control and efficient energy utilization. The proposed control system which includes AI and ML to monitor the energy utilization, occupancy, ambient light and prediction of future electricity demand. The proposed control strategy and system evaluation are performed through Typhoon HIL simulations and then implemented in the real world to evaluate controller performance, system stability, and energy management functionality under various operating conditions using AI and ML. The intelligent, solar powered real-time energy management system offers a cost- effective and scalable framework that ensures stable operations, accurate load forecasting, and reduced energy consumption for various smart building applications.
