Abstract: The present invention relates to the development of a powerful Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML)-based credit card fraud detection system. The system is able to detect unusual transactions by making use of sophisticated algorithms including Random Forest, Gradient Boosting, and deep neural networks. In addition, the system can efficiently tackle the problem of class imbalance through methods such as SMOTE. The findings indicate that the use of ML is extremely effective for detecting frauds and ensuring safe payments. FIG.1
