Abstract: Two-wheeler involvement in road accidents still remains a critical threat to the public safety as mostly the accidents are identified much later for which emergency assistance is not taken timely. This paper presents an AI + IoT-based accident detection and intelligent alert solution intending to improve the accuracy of the accident detection and ease the response of emergency crews. Proposed architecture brings together several different types of vehicle sensors in a system with data collection in the cloud to enable continuous vehicle operation, vibration, impact and location data. The sensor information is transferred to a cloud computing platform where the data is pre-processed and intelligent accident detection and classification is performed, which can be used to guarantee proper distinction between an accident and false alarm. Have near point confirmation interval further reduced pointless emergency notice sending before automated notice making. Location information is quickly broadcast to the communication network and it is sent to emergency contacts right after the accident so that vital help can be obtained. Experimental tests performed demonstrate that the proposed system is highly reliable in detection and leads to an efficient, accurate, scalable and cost-effective intelligent two-wheelers accident monitoring system.
