MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621097573 A) filed by Siddhesh Rajendra Kale; and Rutuja Rajendra Kale on August 12, 2026, for Ai And Blockchain-Based System For Custody-Attested Carbon Credit Generation From Trees Using Optional Iot Hardware.

Inventors include Siddhesh Rajendra Kale; and Rutuja Rajendra Kale.

The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.

Abstract: The present invention discloses an AI and blockchain-based system for custody-attested carbon credit generation from trees using optional IoT hardware. An Input Layer (102) comprises an image-capture device (102a), a per-tree physical anchor (102e) and an optional edge node (200) having a microcontroller (201) and secure key store (202). A custody attestation subsystem (108) admits a capture to an AI Processing Layer (103) only when accompanied by a signature over a server-issued nonce, thereby binding verification data to the specific tree (101). A generative multimodal model (103g) reached through a provider-independent adapter (103h) produces perception only; a deterministic module (103d) computes the carbon quantum. Credit accrues continuously to an off-chain entitlement ledger (106) partitioned between grower and holder; fungible tokens (104b) are minted on demand; and transfer of a tree token (104a) automatically re-partitions the split, retaining a maintenance share for the grower.
