Abstract: The present invention relates to an adaptive industrial process instrumentation system for real-time sensor drift compensation and predictive maintenance. The system comprises a primary sensor element for measuring a process variable selected from flow, level, temperature, pressure, pH, humidity and viscosity, a secondary environmental sensor array for measuring ambient temperature, humidity, vibration and electromagnetic interference, a data acquisition module, and a microprocessor- based control unit. The control unit executes a trained long short-term memory neural network module configured to identify temporal sensor degradation patterns and environmental interference signatures from time-sequenced sensor data. A digital twin modelling engine maintains a virtual representation of the sensor and its operating environment and is dynamically updated using live sensor, environmental, calibration and maintenance data. An adaptive compensation module generates a corrected process measurement by compensating raw sensor output for predicted drift and environmental error. A predictive maintenance module determines sensor health, drift rate, remaining useful life and failure probability, thereby enabling condition-based calibration and maintenance.
