Inventors include Dr. J. Yogapriya; Mrs. K. Lalitha; Mrs. P. Valarmathi; Mrs. L. Nivetha; and Ms. P. Thenmozhi.
The application for the patent was published on August 21, 2026, under issue no. 34/2026.
Abstract: The present invention discloses the development of an AI agent-based autonomous cyber defense framework for intelligent network threat detection and response that has a telemetry collection component, data normalization component, feature extraction component, AI agent orchestration engine, several cybersecurity agents, risk assessment component, response planning component, policy and authorization component, response execution agent, response verification agent, continuous learning component, and security operations dashboard. The framework collects heterogeneous security telemetry from network devices, endpoints, identity management system, cloud systems, applications, IoT devices, and security controls. AI agents work together to conduct anomaly detection, behavioral analysis, threat correlation, autonomous investigation, threat intelligence enrichment, contextual risk assessment, and adaptive response planning. Proposed actions are validated based on threat confidence, asset importance, operational impact, reversibility, and security policies before executing them. Post-response telemetry is analyzed to validate threat containment, and response results are used as part of the continuous learning process. FIG.1
