Abstract: ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION (to be given along with complete specification on separate page) Agriculture faces significant challenges due to plant diseases, which reduce crop yield and quality. This project, AgroSense Al, proposes a portable handheld device that combines Edge IoT, Artificial Intelligence (Al), and Explainable Al ()CAI) for real-time plant disease diagnosis and intelligent crop advisory. The system captures leaf images using a camera and collects environmental data such as soil moisture, temperature, humidity, pH, and NPK through IoT sensors. An Edge Al processor analyzes the multimodal data using a CNN model to identify diseases and provides explainable results through XAL Based on the diagnosis, the system recommends suitable fertilizers, pesticides, irrigation schedules, and preventive measures. The results are displayed on an OLED screen and can also be shared with a mobile application or cloud platform. The proposed solution enables early disease detection, supports precision farming, reduces crop losses, and promotes sustainable agriculture.
