Abstract: Modern agriculture faces major challenges due to plant diseases, lack of timely diagnosis, limited expert access, and delayed availability of suitable farm inputs. Farmers often struggle to identify crop diseases accurately at early stages, leading to reduced yield and economic loss. To overcome these issues, this project proposes AgriSense — a smart mobile application for plant disease detection and input recommendation using Artificial Intelligence. The application allows farmers to capture an image of a diseased plant leaf using a mobile camera. A deep learning model analyzes the image and identifies the plant disease along with the confidence level. After detection, the system provides rule-based recommendations including suitable pesticides and fertilizers to control and manage the disease. The app also maintains a disease history module, allowing farmers to view previously scanned plant records. Unlike GPS-based farm systems, AgriSense does not use live location tracking. Farmers can manually enter their state, district, or village, ensuring privacy while still supporting regional recommendations. The app also includes a vendor module, where agricultural shops can register and list available pesticides and fertilizers. Farmers can search and view nearby shop details such as shop name, area, contact number, and product list without map navigation. The proposed system is simple, affordable, and farmer-friendly. By combining AI-based plant disease detection with input recommendations and vendor availability, AgriSense helps farmers take timely corrective actions, reduce crop loss, and improve overall productivity
