Abstract: Abstract Agriculture plays a vital role in food security and economic stability, yet traditional farming practices often rely on manual judgment and delayed soil testing, leading to inefficient crop planning and reduced productivity. This project presents Agri Vision, an intelligent Soil Monitoring and Crop Recommendation System that integrates Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), and embedded computing to support data-driven agricultural decision-making. The system utilizes a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) to classify soil type from captured soil images and combines this output with real-time soil parameters such as moisture, pH, and temperature acquired through sensors interfaced with a Raspberry Pi 4 Model B. A machine learning–based crop recommendation model analyzes these parameters to suggest the most suitable crop for the given soil conditions. The entire solution operates offline on an edge device and features a user-friendly kiosk interface for real- time interaction. By eliminating dependency on laboratory testing and cloud connectivity, Agri Vision provides a low-cost, portable, and practical solution for precision agriculture, enabling farmers to improve crop selection, optimize resource usage, and enhance overall agricultural productivity.
