Abstract: ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION A hardware-software system that passively captures spoken meeting content and builds a persistent, queryable organisational memory. An edge device comprising a single-board computer and USB microphone automatically detects speech, records the meeting, and transmits audio on silence without manual intervention. A local speech recognition model transcribes the audio and a large language model extracts structured knowledge — decisions, action items, and open questions — from each meeting. All extracted knowledge is stored in a shared vector database that grows with every meeting, enabling any team member to query the full meeting history in natural language. New employees can generate onboarding reports from past meetings instantly. Extracted tasks are automatically pushed to a project management platform with assignees and due dates. All processing runs locally, preserving data privacy. Total Number of Words in Abstract:125
