MUMBAI, India, Aug. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641097485 A) filed by New Horizon College Of Engineering on August 12, 2026, for Agentic Ai For Automated Database Key Detection And Surrogate Key Generation.
Inventors include K. S. Shashikala; Mohammed Faisal; and Anil. A.
The application for the patent was published on August 21, 2026, under issue no. 34/2026.
Abstract: The invention could demonstrate a deterministic Agentic AI system that may establish the automated identification of Primary, Candidate, and Composite keys within the structured datasets. Moreover, the system might address the significant limitations of manual inspection and the important hallucination risks of generative Large Language Models (LLMs), and the system utilizes a rigorous mathematical logic engine that may verify column uniqueness with 100% accuracy. However, the system comprises a privacy-preserving, “Zero-API” architecture that processes data locally without external transmission. Given that datasets may lack unique identifiers, a novel feature of the invention appears to be the Surrogate Key Generator included within the Identifies or Generates Key stage, which automatically detects datasets and injects a synthetic, sequential ID column. Nevertheless, the tool may streamline data engineering workflows by transforming raw structured data received at the Upload File stage, processed through the Key Classification Engine, and finalized before system termination, into normalized, database-ready formats instantly.
