MUMBAI, India, July 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611042023 A) filed by Chandan Rastogi on April 01, 2026, for Ageing-Proxy-Driven Predictive Thermal And Dispatch Control System For Utility-Scale Battery Energy Storage Systems.

Inventor includes Chandan Rastogi.

The application for the patent was published on July 10, 2026, under issue no. 28/2026.

Abstract: A supervisory control system for a utility-scale battery energy storage system derives an ageing-correlated resistance proxy from operational telemetry by reconstructing internal heat generation using a thermal-balance relationship and fitting the reconstructed heat generation to a resistive-heating relationship. The proxy is used to generate predictive thermal setpoints and dispatch derating constraints for an anticipated operating interval. Commands are applied through a bounded supervisory enforcement path comprising a gateway device, protocol translation or register mapping, limiter logic, and a supervisory-validity watchdog. A condensation-safe constraint derived from enclosure temperature and humidity supersedes unsafe predictive thermal targets and tightens dispatch derating when required. Deterministic fail-safe fallback constrains operation when supervisory validity is lost.
