Abstract: ABSTRACT AGE-INCLUSIVE SOCIAL NETWORKING APPLICATION WITH INTEREST MATCHING, ACTIVITY BOOKING, AND TRANSPORTATION ASSISTANCE FOR SENIORS The present invention discloses a mobile application platform (100), referred to as Mulaqat, designed for senior citizens aged fifty years and above to reduce loneliness and social isolation. The system comprises a recommendation and matching engine (130) configured to generate interest-based peer suggestions using weighted similarity algorithms and a swipe-based Spark module (131). An activity and event management module (140) enables age-curated activity bookings with integrated payment processing and reminder generation. A transportation integration module (150) facilitates in-app cab booking with pre-populated destination details linked to events or meetings. The platform further includes a communication module (160) supporting text, audio, and video interaction between matched users, and an emergency alert module (170) configured to transmit real-time GPS location notifications to designated contacts. Additionally, the platform incorporates an elder-friendly user interface validated through empirical user research, thereby providing integrated social engagement, transportation assistance, and personal safety support for elderly users.
