Abstract: Affordable, Intelligent, Portable Device for Linear Needle Insertion Device The present invention relates to the field of medical devices and robotic-assisted minimally invasive procedures, to affordable, intelligent, and portable systems designed for linear needle insertion. The system integrates advancements in mechatronics, sensor technologies, artificial intelligence (AI), and portable medical robotics to overcome the limitations associated with manual needle insertion, such as variability in insertion angle, depth, applied force, and targeting accuracy. The invention is applicable across a wide range of healthcare procedures, including but not limited to drug delivery, biopsies, regional anaesthesia, blood sampling, catheter placement, and soft tissue interventions. By providing a controlled and adaptive mechanism, the system provides enhance accuracy, repeatability, patient safety, and procedural efficiency, thereby empowering healthcare workers in diverse clinical as well as field settings.
