The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.
Abstract: The proposed invention relates to an aerosol-generating device (100) that enables direct measurement of the aerosol-generating substrate level in the cartridge (120). The device comprises a body (140) and a cartridge (120). The body (140) includes a control unit (141), an energy source (142), and a charging port (143). The 5 cartridge (120) houses a heater (127), an aerosol-generating substrate, a condensation chamber (132), and connector pins (129). The condensation chamber (132) also acts as a capacitance sensing unit, with the aerosol-generating substrate serving as a dielectric medium. The control unit (141) measures the substrate level in the condensation chamber (132) by detecting capacitance variance and regulates 10 the activation of the heater (127) accordingly. This prevents thermal stress on the heater (127), avoids the production of dry inhalation, and ensures consistent performance.
