Abstract: ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION Title: Aerodynamic Morphing Wing Design Employing 60:40 Zigzag Rib Configuration The invention relates to a morphing wing rib design with a unique zigzag pattern and optimized 60:40 rigid-to-flexible section ratio that minimizes the force required during camber adjustment while enabling smooth shape transitions at the trailing edge. The wing comprises a rib structure (100) with rigid section (110) at 60% chord and flexible section (120) at 40% chord; main spar hole (130) at 27.5% chord; secondary spar hole (140) at 51.18% chord; spar system (200); zigzag morphing mechanism (300) with zigzag pattern (310) and actuation interface (320); and aerodynamic performance benefits (400). The invention ensures reduced energy consumption, enhanced aerodynamic performance, extended wing lifespan, and structural integrity under high aerodynamic loads.
