Abstract: An adjustable supporting device for rickshaws comprising, a U-shaped frame 101 installed on ceiling portion of rickshaw, an imaging unit 102 is installed on the frame 101 and paired with a processor to determine position of a user sitting in the rickshaw, multiple handles 103 arranged on the frame 101, each by means of a motorized slider 104 to translate the handle for positioning in proximity to the user for enabling the user to acquire a grip of the handle, an impact sensor is embedded in the frame 101 for detecting vibrations and shocks experienced to the user’s hands while gripping the handle, an electromagnetic spring 201 integrated in between the handle and slider 104 to expand/contract for absorbing the detected vibrations to restrain sudden movements for preventing accidental injuries to the user, an ultrasonic sensor is embedded on the frame 101 for determining position of the user’s elbows.
