MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511015640 A) filed by Sanskriti University on February 22, 2025, for Adjustable Marking Assistive Device.

Inventors include Dr. Shiv Bharat Singh; and Dr. Dinesh Kumar.

The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.

Abstract: An adjustable marking assistive device, comprising an extendable rod 101 positioned over a cylindrical workpiece surface to be marked, plurality of motorized clippers 102 configured on the rod 101 for gripping the workpiece, an imaging unit 104 installed over the rod 101 for capturing images of the workpiece and displayed over a display panel 105 installed on the rod 101, a telescopic link 106 configured with the rod 101 installed with a bevel gear arrangement 107 to translate a marking tool 108 configured with the arrangement in contact with the surface, a chamber 109 stored with marking ink is arranged over the link 106 and linked with the tool 108 via a flexible pipe and a stepper motor 110 installed between the rod 101 and link 106 to provide translation to the link 106 to mark over a circular pattern on workpiece.
