Abstract: [0057] In one aspect, the invention provides an adjustable magnetic therapy device that comprises a magnetic therapy pad and at least one foam pad. The magnetic therapy pad is characterized by a left side, a right side, a top side and a bottom side and comprises an RF coil that is covered with padding; and foldable arms attached to the left side and the right side of the magnetic therapy pad, wherein the foldable arms form a MQSF. The foam pad is detachably attached to at least one of the bottom side, or the top side. In another aspect, the invention provides a method of calibrating a MQSF in the adjustable magnetic resonance therapy device using the magnetic field sensor on the RF coil to measure a predetermined magnetic field generated on the MQSF to be calibrated, and compensating for any differences observed therein
