Abstract: ABSTRACT ADJUSTABLE LEAK GUARD FOR POWER SAVE DURING WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for adjusting a time period to delay entering a power save mode (leak guard) for wireless communications. In one aspect, a wireless communication device may adjust a time period to delay entering a power save mode. The time period is associated with the wireless communication device remaining awake to prevent an access point from transmitting to the wireless communication device while the wireless communication device is in the power save mode. The wireless communication device also may provide, to the AP, an indication that the wireless communication device is entering a power save mode, and the wireless communication device may enter the power save mode. Entering the power save mode is at least the adjusted time period after providing the indication to the AP.
