MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511012764 A) filed by Sanskriti University on February 14, 2025, for Adjustable Knee Supporting Device.

Inventors include Keshchandra Singh; and Dr. Jayabhaye Mahesh Shrirnag.

The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.

Abstract: An adjustable knee supporting device, comprises of an inverted U-shaped telescopic frame 101 having pair of straps 102 for securing the frame 101 around thighs of the user, pair of motorized rollers 103 for rotating on its axis to properly fit frame 101 and straps 102 around user’s thigh, an imaging unit 104 determines positioning of user’s knee portion, frame 101 to extend/retract for positioning a semi-cylindrical shaped plate 105 in proximity to user’s knee portion, a microphone 106 enables user to give voice commands for draping of plate 105 around knee, a motorized hinge for tilting the link towards other end of plate for enclosing user’s knee between plate 105 and link 107, an electronic nozzle 108 connected with a water chamber 109 to spray pressurized water over detected dust for eliminating detected dust from frame 101, multiple hydraulic links 110 extend towards ground surface for stabilizing user.
